The lahmajo is really good here, I always pass by whenever I am in the area. Very classic Armenian street food. Don't forget to squeeze some lemon on it
Came by for a snack and was able to find metered parking right outside. I had ordered a Spinach Beorek and Maneishe (ground beef on flat bread) and they were pretty good! It's definitely a grab and go place so you also shouldn't need that much time on the meter. ~~Parking: There's metered street parking available, I wasn't sure if there was a parking lot for this place because it's located on a pretty busy street. ~~Service: Good. The cashier was very nice and had toasted the two items that I had ordered so they were nice and warm. ~~Tips: Bring cash. The bakery will charge an extra $1 if you want to pay with card. ~~Return: Yes.

This is the original Sasoun Bakery which I've come to since I was 10 years old. It's the BEST Lahmajun and Beoreg place EVER! Just by walking in, that delicious scent of deliciousness being baked just few feet away makes you hungry. They have variety of those fresh baked goods for different tastes. They also have drink options to accompany your meal. I simply LOVE extra crispy Lahmajun with Tan (Armenian yogurt drink). Since I live in San Diego now, whenever I'm in the area, I stop by to get a dozen of Lahmajun and Beoreg. I put them in the freezer and when it's time to eat, I pop them in my NuWave machine on the Bake setting and it comes out tasting just like it came out of the oven at Sasoun Bakery. There may be other competitors in the area but this is the original and the best! If you're in the area or see other Sasoun Bakeries in the Glendale area, you have to try it. You won't regret it!
